Our company was established in June 1974 initially under name of Neath Toronto Ltd.  

In April of 1974, I Helmut Kruger in partnership with friend and mentor, Harold Neath, incorporated Neath Toronto Ltd. The name was chosen to capitalize on the well-established reputation of Neath Restoration and Consultants while emphasizing the locale distinction (Toronto based versus Hamilton based). 

Health reasons forced Mr. Neath to sell his Hamilton operation to a competitor. In order to avoid the name association with our competitor we felt a name change to be essential. Maresco Limited was chosen. The name Maresco basically is an easily pronounced and spelled acronym, being made up of the first few letters of words fundamental to our business, namely

Be that as it may, Maresco enjoyed strong early growth but has in recent years levelled off to a comfortable and sustainable five to six million dollar sales volume. Profits were largely re-invested in upgraded equipment, facilities and staff, to the point, where today Maresco is recognized and respected by engineers, owners and competitors alike as an industry leader. We believe this success is rooted in our business philosophy.
